A Personal Collection With a Social Side
MyDex brings Pokémon discovery, saved favorites, teams, and shareable PokeProfiles into a personal collection experience. Pokémon API data and Firebase support an interface built with PHP, JavaScript, and Sass, combining a playful presentation with account-based organization.
The Challenge
A collection product needs to support looking things up and making the collection personal. The challenge is to connect a broad source of Pokémon data with favorites, teams, and profile sharing, so discovery and community feel like parts of the same experience rather than separate destinations.
