Familiar Streaming Patterns, Connected by Shared State
React Netflix Clone brings title discovery, trailers, and personal lists into a streaming-inspired interface. React, TypeScript, Sass, Express, and React Router support an application built around moving naturally between browsing content and returning to saved titles.
The Challenge
A media discovery interface has to accommodate both exploration and personal intent. Browsing titles should feel connected to watching a trailer or keeping something for later. The challenge is to organize those paths without losing the familiar visual rhythm of a streaming experience.
The Approach
Use familiar streaming layouts to give discovery a recognizable structure.
Connect title browsing, trailers, and lists through shared application state.
Support movement between views with a React Router foundation.
The Deliverables
- A streaming-inspired React interface for title discovery.
- Trailer viewing and personal list experiences.
- A TypeScript and Sass application with Express support.
The Outcome
The resulting clone connects discovery and personal organization in one familiar browsing experience. Shared state helps the application's views feel like parts of a coherent media product.
