An Original Armory Made for Close Inspection
Weapon Database presents original weapon studies through a responsive catalog and interactive Three.js specimen views. Firearms, swords, drones, and crossbows share brushed-steel themes, with equipment inspection and a Gunsmith editor extending browsing into a configurable collection experience.
The Challenge
A catalog spanning different forms needs a consistent way to introduce each study without flattening its visual character. The challenge is to balance the atmosphere of an armory with usable inspection controls, customizable finishes, and a clear path into building a personal loadout.
The Approach
Use brushed-steel themes to unify the catalog's original design studies.
Make interactive Three.js specimens central to the inspection experience.
Connect catalog discovery with finishes and the Gunsmith loadout editor.
The Deliverables
- A responsive catalog of original weapon studies.
- Interactive specimen views and customizable equipment finishes.
- A Gunsmith loadout editor with locally saved collections.
The Outcome
The catalog combines an editorial collection with an interactive workbench. Visitors can inspect the studies and compose locally saved loadouts within a consistent visual system.
