Griffon is the leading soldier of the resistance against the Garaiyan empire. This resistance is known as “The Lost Ones”. Although Griffon is seen as the military commander of the resistance, he has trouble getting close to or trusting anyone, this leads to him going on his own solo missions which are often very dangerous causing his team to worry. Griffon’s younger sister is an oracle just like Ava, receiving visions of the end of the world. She tells Griffon of the impending doom which makes him worry about things beyond the freedom of the kingdom to now thinking about the sake of the world in its entirety. This causes Griffon to go on a mission to the kingdom in the west in order to bring in some members of the resistance who are working under cover in the western kingdom, including Wendy, the military second in command of the resistance as well as Solomon the actual leader of the resistance. When Griffon arrives at the western kingdoms, he meets the arrogant Damien who challenges Griffon to a fight after hearing the rumors of “the commander of the resistance, Griffon, is a one-man-army.” Damien, who has never lost a fight, is easily defeated by Griffon, causing the two to become rivals as Damien desires to become stronger than Griffon one day. It turns out Griffon and Damien know each other from their childhood as they both have the same skorpion tattoo on the backs of their necks. When his younger sister is killed during the enlightening of their planet, Griffon fully believes in the premonition of the oracles and decides to follow Ava as the new oracle who will guide their world to salvation.
