Athena is a God Queen and the current ruler/headmistress of the legendary Traven Academy of Magic which was founded by The Goddess Eve. Athena is a kind and beautiful woman who is also highly intelligent, extremely skilled & gifted in sorcery and famous across the multiverse, but only when you get to know her, you find her darker side. She abhors those who have low or no aptitude for magic, calling them lower than mortals and also treats her knight and personal slave worse than an animal because he is one of these people with low aptitude for magic, despite his amazing physical combat. Athena offers to teach Ava magic personally as Ava is an elementalist and clearly magically gifted just like Athena was when she was younger. However, Ava begins to ask Athena questions about the deeper and darker secrets of magic and the multiverse. Athena, despite taking a liking to Ava, withholds this information and tells Ava she does not know, but Ava is not convinced. We later see Ava infiltrate the Traven forbidden library desperate for the answers Athena wouldn’t give her. It is here that we meet the artificial android daughter of Athena who was maimed by Heracles and revived with Bioskin limbs in secret. The daughters name is Mae, and through her we learn that Athena is only withholding information from her beloved students because her brother, the ruthless Heracles, forced her not to teach students the true untapped potential of magic and the true secrets of the universe. Athena, who is terrified of her powerful brother and hates him for killing her daughter in order to force her submission, takes out her fears and angers on her knight and slave, even though she secretly begins to fall in love with her knight.
