Father of Ganghis and sworn brother of Gabriel. Ruthless conqueror dictating over the eastern continent. When he was younger, he was actually very much different. He was a gallant young prince who was a strong natural fighter, but kind to all of his constituents, and even wanted to free his slaves. When he was just a teenager, Garaiya became famous for the amazing feat of climbing Mount Mongor, the highest peak in the world which was also the largest dormant volcano. Everyone in the kingdom loved the prince and looked forward to the day the prince becomes king. Everyone except Garaiya’s younger brother, Richard, who was jealous of his older brother. Richard loved a girl, the daughter of a lord, the young princess Elaine, however, Elaine loved Garaiya. She was always kind to Richard but this was the tipping point. Richard’s jealousy drove him to hire a band of desert nomads who lived on the outskirts of their kingdom to kidnap Garaiya. They steal him away under the promise that Richard will pay a royal sum to get him back, however, Richard never planned on paying the ransom. Hearing this, the ruthless leader of the kidnappers gets extremely angry and decides to take it out on the kind young prince who was asking to be let go so he could go back to his younger brother. They begin mercilessly torturing the young Garaiya, beating him and enslaving him. Over the next few years, the band of nomads used Garaiya as a soldier who would endlessly fight against rival clans in the desert for supplies and survival. Garaiya almost never received food or water. If he got injured in battle to the point where they would have to use medical supplies to help him recover, he would then be severely punished when he came back to health. After about 10 years, they were travelling through the vast desert and it seemed like it was all coming to an end. They ran out of water, and food. Their horses and camels collapsed, and the nomads began to eat them. They were dragging Garaiya by rope through the desert, his body was rugged, sandy and bloody. He was starved and dehydrated. The leader of the nomads then began to torture Garaiya once more. He blamed Garaiya for their suffering and current situation. “If he had just paid the ransom, you would have been back home in your comfy palace, and we would have been rich! Not fighting to survive in this damn desert! It’s all your fault! Your fault and that damn brat!” Garaiya, who was silently accepting the beating, now listened. Dark storm clouds began to form on top of them in the desert. “That damn kid hired us to kidnap you, but he never paid. He grew up in his palace comfortably and a few days ago he went and got married to some princess, now he’s king! What a laugh, that bastard prince Richard!” After all these years, Garaiya learned the identity of the person who had caused all of his suffering, and it was his brother whom Garaiya had loved and missed so much. A rainless thunderstorm was brewing in the sky. Garaiya snapped and freed himself from his binds. He stood up slowly and then kicked the leader of the nomads so hard that he was blasted into a far away sand dune mountain, and the mountain of sand then blew apart from the force. The rest of the nomads turned back at Garaiya in fear but it was too late, Garaiya swiftly and brutally killed all of them. He destroyed them, and then he looked up at the sky and cursed everything. His brother, his kidnappers, the entire world that had punished him for nothing. At that moment Garaiya’s contempt for the world and his pure hatred mysteriously caused a neon purple lightning bolt to strike him. This was no ordinary lightning bolt coming down from the sky, as this lightning bolt also fired upwards into outer space so far that the other end of the bolt reached a near by planet. It was at this moment that Garaiya had formed an electrical telepathic connection to an evil scientist from a different world who had just recently, much like Garaiya, cursed his world and developed an ambition to end it. Their hatred is what linked them now and forever onwards. When this happened, the desert and sky around Garaiya collapsed and faded and all that was left was a vast empty space that was colored a dark red gradient. Garaiya was falling through the sky still facing upwards. This is when suddenly Garaiya fell into a vast ocean of clear silver water. This was no ordinary water, in it, you could see reflections of a different person and a different life. Almost like memories being replayed over and over and dancing in the ripples of the water. Garaiya was falling rapidly but the moment he touched the water time slowed down to an impossible latency, the moments felt like eternities. As the water around his body caved in it seemed like the memories which was reflecting off the surface of the water now began to gravitate towards Garaiya. He began to absorb these memories, almost as if living the life of another and through their eyes. The memories and life were not his, but they were the memories of the scientist who lived in a different world. The scientist’s name was Gabriel. Garaiya had come to know Gabriel like he himself was there for every moment of Gabriels life, and while Garaiya was falling into the waters of Gabriels life, Gabriel was experiencing the same thing, seeing how much Garaiya had suffered. They both consumed eachothers lives and memories until they had equal experience and sympathy for eachother, they formed a deep connection. This connection would later be referred to as a ‘Collision.’ After the memories of eachothers lives finished, they both experienced a vision simultaneously, and this time they were both next to eachother seeing the exact same vision. These memories were not either of theirs, but instead a much more ancient and mystical recollection. They saw a great battle enfolding, in outer space! Mystical beings weilding and using what seemed to be, magic? Indeed, these angellic and demonic beings were using magical elements, fire, water, wind, lightning, rock, even darkness and light to combat eachother, and also, there was one more thing which struck their interest. Dragons, mighty dragons were also involved in this battle, great beasts that also weilded elemental magic from their breath, wings, claws, scales and horns. Above all of the dragons, there was a great black dragon, larger and more fierce than any other dragons. What was this great battle?! Right then, This is when Garaiya woke up in the desert the moment right after the lightning bolt hit him. In just those brief moments, Garaiya had lived another entire lifetime through Gabriel. “What was that? Just a dream? No, it felt too real. I lived another life as Gabriel, I know him as I know myself!” This is when Garaiya could hear in his thoughts, the voice of Gabriel. “Garaiya, it was not a dream. I am Gabriel. I do not know why or for what reason, but you and me have formed a connection deeper than blood, despite us being worlds apart. I have come to know you as a friend, no, a partner perhaps… This feeling, How can I descri-” “Brothers… We have become Brothers, Gabriel. The reason? I’m not too sure either, but what I do know is I have seen you suffer, as I have suffered. Both of us have been betrayed, forsaken by our very worlds, and this is why destiny intertwined our fates… and not just our fates, but the tragic fate of one other.” “Yes, the great battle with magic and dragons, I did not think it possible but how can we doubt it now, when we have heard, seen and even felt these as our own memories. But who did these memories belong to? I saw a great mountain which did not seem familiar to me, yet I have a vague recollection of reaching the summit. Do I know this to be a false memory?” “No, my brother, those memories of yours are real. They are mine. I do not know who’s life we were seeing during that great battle of Gods, but I do know that mountain. It is a summit very close to my home kingdom. I climbed it when I was just a boy…” “Ah, I see. Then perhaps there lies a clue within that peak.” “Yes, so it seems it is time for me to return to my home, to my false brother. Stay with me in mind brother Gabriel, for our fates have been crossed. Help me to destroy my world and I will help you with yours. “Yes, Together we shall bring forth a new world rid of all evils which have caused us suffering.” The two then spent the next few years forming a plan which would accomplish both of their goals to destroy their worlds, whilst Garaiya took on a second mission of exploring Mount Mongor. Garaiya conquered the desert and united all of the nomads into his first army. Garaiya then stormed his old home kingdom, he raided the city slaughtering everyone in his path. Garaiya reached the palace and claimed the throne from his false brother. All the while Gabriel experienced these moments, all the death and rage and war, with Garaiya through their collision path. Garaiya exiled Richard and his oldest son, Griffon to the desert. Garaiya also took the queen, Elaine, from his brother. He had conquered the kingdom and renamed it the Great Garaiyan Empire of the East. Garaiya would then go on to conquer all the nearby nations with his ferocious power, expanding his territory. When he finally climbed Mount Mongor again, he now saw paths and things that were not visible to him when he was a boy climbing it for the first time. Could this be because he has been exposed to more truths? He also sees that the volcano is showing much more activity than when he was younger. Garaiya finds a great stone door near the basin of the boiling magma. The heat was unbearable for anyone of lesser strength than the great conqueror Garaiya. Atop the stone door, there were some ancient glyphs, a language he had never seen before, except for one place: the legendary and religious book – The Elysium Manuscript, a mysterious document written in a language that no one in the world has ever been able to decode. Could this document hold more secrets? Garaiya needed more information, and his brother who was more cunning and intelligent, advised Garaiya to allocate his focus from battling other nations to this great stone door. Garaiya agreed, and let his eldest son, Ganghis, take over the military operations while Garaiya settled down for a rest and in this time, Garaiya would begin recruiting children who showed resolve or intelligence into his army as child soldier. Any child who showed an aptitude for advanced theoretical sciences or literature would garner the interest of Gabriel, and thus Garaiya began an exclusive class of young children, to whom Gabriel and Garaiya would teach about the memories they saw, the magic they believed existed, and they studied the mysterious sciences of Collisions and why they occur. In this class, a young girl was eventually recruited who would be the key to accomplishing Gabriel and Garaiya’s goal. This girl, mysteriously, had the ability to read the glyphs that Garaiya and Gabriel could not, despite years studying it. Moreover, whenever the girl came into contact with the glyphs, she and the texts would begin to glow. This girl, was Ava. Garaiya then made this girl his star student. The girl, who was young and naive, unaware that Garaiya was the ruthless conqueror who commanded the destruction of her home village and her kidnapping and recruitment, as she had only ever experienced kindness from Garaiya as her teacher. Garaiya always showed kindness to the girl, so long as she kept producing good results in her studies. It was only when he took her to the basin of Mount Mongor, where she saw his true colors. The girl complained about the heat, but Garaiya became very angry and Gabriel was impatient. When the girl refused, they rejected her and exiled her from the class. Many years later, Garaiya and Gabriel found another hope, Garaiya’s own daughter, Belle, who had the same powers as Ava. Now they were even more impatient, They forced the girl onwards and then they eventually reached the great stone door. The glyphs on the door began to glow and so did the girl. With tears in her eyes, and coughing from the smoke, she was forced to read the glyphs aloud. The language sounded ancient yet elegant and advanced, almost entrancing. When she finished reciting the stone doors shook and finally opened up. Garaiya and Belle continued down. Eventually, deep within the volcano, the heat was so great that the girl passed out, so Garaiya called some slaves to retrieve her and take her back up to the surface. Garaiya then continued on alone, with Gabriel watching on in his mind. This is when they both reach the end of the path, and they see what the great stone door had locked away for so many years. In the heart of the lava, there lie a great sleeping black dragon. Could this have been the dragon they saw in that great battle? The dragon then awoke, and Garaiya and Gabriel could hear the mighty voice within their minds. They had formed a 3 way collision with the Great Dragon. The dragon tells them that this connection is known as a Collision and proceeds to tell them the greater history of the universe that the dragon saw and experienced himself 10’s of thousands of years ago, and how he ended up locked up in this volcano. It is after this, that Garaiya and Gabriel learned the all truth, they became enlightened and finally unlocked the abilities of magic, granted to them by the dragon, who they decide to free from Mount Mongor. This event starts Ragnarok, the end of the worlds that they seeked so much. During this, it is revealed that Gabriel has been travelling across the galaxy towards Verth, by using his great intellect which caused his brain to grow and form its own natural gravitational pull. Gabriel uses this gravitational pull to not only allow himself to travel through space, but also pull his own planet, Xeta, along with him which causes a massive apocalyptic planetary collision between the two worlds. This event later becomes known as the Enlightenment of Verth.
