Shado is a monster who was taught the dark magic of being able to invade the dreams of others and hurt them from within, turning their dreams into nightmares, tormenting or even killing them. We find out later that Shado is a demon who was enslaved by Joki to help harvest souls. Shado gets into a fight with Damien who manages to defeat the undefeated monster and gain its respect, especially since Shado seems to enjoy Damien’s music, and they become friends, although Griffon does not trust Shado at first, since Shado was a member of the Shadez, an organization tasked with procedurally eliminating billions of people across the universe to keep populations balanced, a job normally done by Death, however, right now the position of God of Death is vacant. Shado joins the Revels and travels with them, also revealing his ability to transform into any creature he has seen. Shado initially stays quiet but friendly, as he gets closer to the Revels, all except Griffon. We find out later that Shado has the soul of a man named Serge, Damien’s best friend and band mate, who died during the Enlightenment of Verth. Shado fights with a Scythe which can also turn into a Swallow Double Edged Blade.
