When they first encounter Vanessa, she is in the form of a beautiful golden 9 tailed fox, she lures the lustful men of the crew, namely Damien and surprisingly, Zaine who has always been quiet, and typically shy around girls, but it is revealed here that he is just as big of a pervert as Damien, potentially more. After she lures them in, she traps them and then suddenly Damien and Zaine find themselves surrounded by a bunch of small mysterious creatures they had never seen before, as well as the beautiful 9 tailed fox which gave off the aura of a beautiful maiden, now transforms into that beautiful maiden, and she is completely naked, save for her fluffy tails which she uses to cover her parts. Damien and Zaine pass out from the beauty, and Vanessa ultimately decides they must not be here to harm her planet or the creatures in it, as they are too idiotic. When they awaken, they are tied up inside of a prison cell made of nature with a window built in so that Vanessa can observe them. She is a scientist and this is the first time she has seen real live humans. Damien asks her if she herself is not a human, since she looks like one despite her tails, but she reveals that this one of her many different forms as from birth, she had the mysterious ability to transform into any creature she has seen before, as long as she studies they physiology and understand them a bit. However, she does not know how she became the only humanoid being on this mysterious planet of creatures or even if she was really born here or is she from somewhere else. She has long since forgotten her true default form which she does not remember, but she knows that it exists as she feels like she is missing something crucial. She later finds out through the help of Zaine that she is actually a mermaid from Atlantis!
